The operating rod (2) together with the player figure (1) forms a unit which can be manipulated to move freely. An operating element (9) on the bar touches at least one movable leg (4) which can be pulled back by a wire pull (8) connected to the operating element. The operating rod consists of an outer pipe (17) with inner straight hollow shaft (16) the front end (18) of which leads into a flexible hollow shaft (19) touching a holder (20) for the player figure. The operating element can be retracted from a non operating position against a compression spring (13) resting on a rotary handle (21). USE/ADVANTAGE - The player figure can be moved freely over a playing surface and has a rotary handle for moving the figure into any direction.
