The mounting is for a catheter inserted to treat prostate or bladder ailments. It fits round the patient's waist and is adjustable. A pouch (1) attached to it accommodates a bag for the patient's urine. Two guide lugs (9,10) for the catheter hose (7) are mounted on the pouch and relieve the load of the hose. An elastic strap (11) on the bottom end of the pouch is passed round the thigh. USE/ADVANTAGE - Catheter mounting for prostate- or bladder-treatment greatly reduces discomfort of patient, who can sleep undisturbed in any position.
