The directional antenna has a dipole section (3) produced from the material of a reflector (5) using either a computer controlled laser or blanking machine. The dipole is produced with two symmetrical L shaped sections that are supported along a common edge (11) and are set at a specific angle. The formed opening (B) can be covered by an electrically conducting material and the distance between the dipoles can be varied. ADVANTAGE - Relatively simple to mfr. and construct by either computer controlled laser or blanking machine working on reflective material and with improved electrical characteristic.
