An adjustable foot pedal mounting system is used in road vehicle for a unit that provides support for accelerator, brake (2) and clutch pedal. Each of the pedals is mounted as a lever on a common shaft (4) pivot point. The ends of the spindle locate elongated slots (23) in the mounting wall plates. Attached rigidly to the spindle is an adjustment plate (19) with a curved guide track. The guide track engages a fixed pin (22) such that when the plate is turned through an arc the spindle bearing point moves along the elongated slot. In doing so the point of operation of the foot pedal changes. USE/ADVANTAGE - Ease of adjusting operation point.
