The pref. hand-held appts. in a plastic casing (1) contains an electric motor (3) installed between e.g. foam cushions (4) to rotate the disc (11) when an elastic clutch (6) on the central axis (7) is engaged. A magnetic film (14) covering the surface which faces the treatment plane (12) emits lines of force (15) at right angles to the treatment plane in regions (16,17) of opposite polarity, laterally offset w.r.t. the dia. of the disc. The rotation provides continuous reversals of polarity of the field applied to the treatment plane. USE - For treatment of strictly limited areas of the human body.
