The claw extension (2) is shaped so that it fits directly to the existing fixing claw (1) for the electrical installation box (10). Pref. the claw extension has a U-shaped guide (7) fitted to the end of the fixing claw and a spring element (5) matched in shape to the contour of the fixing claw which fits beneath the point of the latter, to prevent movement of the claw in the opposite direction to the insertion direction. ADVANTAGE - Allows installation box to be adapted for different fixing depth.
