Turn-and-tilt window, in which the wing fits completely into the fixed frame, with the casement and fixed frame being aligned flush with one another, and which has a third so-called "ventilation" opening mode. Its fitting comprises a single four-position control member (24) connected by means of rods (20) to two sets of two articulated links, of which one (13, 14) is fastened to the upper crosspieces of the fixed frame (2) and of the wing (1) and the other (15, 16) to the lower crosspieces of the fixed frame (2) and of the wing (1), these two sets of links each being composed of a link (13) and (15) connecting the fixed frame (2) to the wing (1) by means of two pivots (18) and (19) or (22) and (23), and of a link (14) and (16) connecting the link (13) and (15) to the fixed frame (2) by means of pivots (17) and (19') or (21) and (23'), the links (13) and (15) each having a multi-directional groove (26) and (29), inside which can be displaced a dog (11) and (12) connected by means of the rods (20) to the control member (24) and likewise capable of being displaced in a groove (27) and (31) made in a plate fixed to the wing (1), the dog (11) and (12) being capable, as a function of the four positions of the control member (24), of occupying four positions (A, B, C, D) corresponding respectively to the locking of the wing (1) and to the three possible opening modes.
