<p>A method of making material for use in fabricating an anode for use in a chemical current source, which includes heating a mixture which includes aluminum and magnesium to a temperature sufficiently high to bring about the fusion of the mixture. The heating is done in the presence of hydrogen so that the hydrogen penetrates the melt. Upon cooling, the mixture solidifies to form an anode with improved properties.</p> |
