摘要 The synchronisation system facilitates transfer of transported components moved along an assembly line between 2 different conveying devices (2,3) at least one of which employs a single overhead rail and conveying vehicles (7) from which the components are suspended. Each of the conveying vehicles has an associated position detector, supplying position signals to a regulator (5) providing velocity correction signals to ensure that the vehicles arrive at the synchronisation point (4) at the correct time and with the correct velocity. Pref. regulator responds to the detected positions of both the conveying vehicles and assembly blocks (B1...B7) displaced in an oval conveying path, to provide velocity correction signals for the drive unit of each successive conveying vehicle. USE - For automobile assembly line.
