The invention relates to a process for detecting movement in monocular imaging with fixed acquisition system, in image sequences, the said process comprising the following steps: - a step of acquisition (20) of a sequence of at least two images by the acquisition system in the form of an analogue signal (SNN), - a step (21) of digitisation and storage at the sampling rate of the acquisition system of all or part of the sequence in the order of acquisition, - a step (22) of at least two successive temporal transformations of the digitised image sequence by successive application to the said digitised image sequence of temporal functions with at least two different degrees of resolution and arising from a family of temporal functions; - a step (23) of combining the set of temporal transformations arising from all the functions contained in the family of functions, - a step (24) of visualisation.
