PURPOSE:To reduce energy cost and pollutional load without using washing water at all by incorporating a specified Magenta coupler into a photographic sensitive material, and using at the same time a specified stabilizing liquid. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive material is color-developed, and then processed with a treating liquid having fixing effect, and process successively in a stabilizing stage contg. substantially no water washing stage. In this case, the photosensitive material contains at least a Magenta coupler expressed by formula I, and the stabilizing liquid to be used in the stabilizing stage contains at least a kind of mildew proofing agent selected from isothiazoline type mildew proofing agent, benzisothiazoline type mildew proofing agent, and thiabenzazole type mildew proofing agent. In formula I, Ar is a phenyl group; Y is an eliminable group when an oxidized body of an aromatic primary amine type color developing agent is coupled therewith forming a dye; x is a halogen atom., alkoxy group, aralkyl group; R is a group which can be substituted in a benzene ring; n is 1 or 2. By this constitution, a color picture image is processed stably with reduced cost and low pollutional load. |
