PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity, repetition characteristics, durability, etc., by using a hydrazone compd. specified in structure as an electrostatic charge transfer material. CONSTITUTION:The hydrazone compd. specified in structure is represented by the formula in which X is O, S, or optionally substd. imino; R1, R2 are each independently alkyl, aralkyl, aryl, or heterocyclic; R3, R4 are each independently H, alkyl, aralkyl, alkoxy, or halogen; R5 is alkyl, aralkyl aryl, or heterocyclic; R6, R7 are each independently H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, aryl, amino, or alkylamino; and n is 0 or 1. Since the hydrazone compd. itself has no film forming ability, a binder resin is used to form a photosensitive layer. Preferable binders are highly electrically insulating film-forming polymers and copolymers. |
