The pulse-controlled power supply unit is formed by a generator (6) of exciter pulses, whose output is connected across the switching transistor (5) to the primary coil (3) of the transformer of the blocking converter. One output of the secondary coil (9) is connected across a diode (10) to the first output terminal (12); connected between that and the second output terminal (13), connected with the second output of the secondary coil, there is a condenser (11). Connected in series with the primary coil (3) of the transformer of the blocking converter is the primary coil (4) of the current transformer (4), to whose secondary coil (14), through a parallel connected resistor (17), is connected the first input of the current comparator (18). Connected to the second input of the current comparator (18) is the terminal (19) of the source of reference current and the output of the comparator (18) is connected to the drive input of the generator (6) of exciter pulses.
