<p>The invention relates to a driving shield having a pressurisable winning chamber sealed off to the rear in the front part of the shield by a transverse wall and delimited at the front by the face, and an operating device arrranged in this winning chamber on the tranverse wall and intended for winning the material cropping out at the face, one or more suction tubes being provided in the ground area of the winning chamber, via which suction tubes the won ground material can be conveyed out of the winning chamber by means of a delivery pump in a liquid-circulation circuit. The invention provides for the operating device to consist of at least one hydraulically drivable gripping arm having an interchangeable winning tool, for a screen to be provided at a distance above the suction tubes as a passage for the washable ground material, and for a gate to be arranged next to the screen in the transverse wall for removing the won material not let through by the screen and recovered stones. For the tool change, the gripping arm can be retracted to the rear into a maintenance space which can be partitioned off from the winning chamber. Due to the invention, it is possible to use the driving shield even in greatly varying types of ground having obstacles embedded therein, in which arrangement it is not necessary to enter the winning chamber to recover obstacles, and the won material can be conveyed not only in a wet state but if need be also in a dry state.</p> |
