PURPOSE:To enable writing and erasion on a thick and solid card by forming an indication medium and a heating member of the elastic and deformable member and allowing both to adhere at a time of contact in a recording method wherein the heating member having a flat face is brought into contact with the indication medium constituted of the plastic thermal recording material capable of writing and erasion and there by writing and erasion are performed. CONSTITUTION:An indication medium 5 has the reversible thermal recording material capable of writing and erasion by heating on the surface. The indication medium 5, i.e., a private card is placed on an ink pad 61. Recording or erasion is performed by using a hot stamp 101. In this case, a highly elastic member 1, is interposed oppositely to the indication medium 5 of the hot stamp 101. The highly elastic member 4 is capable of restorable elastic deformation after deformation. Hardness thereof is specified to 85 deg. or below at the measurement of elastic deformation spring hardness H51. Further it is necessary that the highly elastic member 4 is decided by considering thermal conductivity. For example, platelike silicon rubber having thickness of 5 mm or below is used. |
