PURPOSE:To permit the provision of a cylinder or a transfer conveyer having a peripheral speed difference with the increase and decrease of speed necessary for the sure delivery or receiving of a section by a method wherein the rotating movement of a variable speed rotary cylinder with respect to a delivery cylinder is generated and the rotating speed of a delivery pawl device is changed with respect to the rotating speed of the same cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The outside movement of a cam follower 27 is effected at a time when a pawl device 18 is approached to a position P whereat the section is delivered from a clamping device 12 to a delivdery pawl device 18 and the variable speed cylinder 23 is moved into the same direction as an equal speed cylinder 22 and a cylinder 23, rotated with the same speed as the cylinder 22, is accelerated whereby the peripheral speed becomes V. Since the peripheral speed of the pawl device 18 becomes V at the position P, the change of clamping of the section can be effected while clamping the same by both of the pawls for a short period of time. On the other hand, the inside movement of the cam follower 27 is effected when the pawl device 18 is approached to a position Q whereat the section is put on a transfer conveyer 8 from the pawl device 18. At this moment, the cylinder 23 is moved into a rotating direction opposite to the same of the cylinder 22, the cylinder 23, rotated in the same speed as the cylinder 22. decelerated to the peripheral speed of 0.55V whereby the section is transferred onto a conveyer 8 without collapsing the posture and position thereof. |
