PURPOSE:To connect ceiling bars to each other by means of a small number of structural members simply and surely, so as to accomplish anti-earthquake reinforcement and to improve the execution efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A joint device includes a joint main body 9 having a C-shaped section which is engaged with the end areas 3a of ceiling bed materials 3 pressed to each other in such a manner as to extend over both areas for regulating the lateral movement. Clamp screws 10 for pressing and fixing the ceiling bed materials 3 to a lower horizontal piece 9c is screwed in an upper horizontal piece 9d of the joint main body 9. A brace fitting is stretched between a hung bolt 1 and the joint main body 9. Thus, the joint main body 9 can be simply engaged with the ceiling bed material 3 due to its sectional shape from the direction intersecting perpendicularly to the material 3, and the joint main body 9 can be engaged with the end areas 3a, 3a of the ceiling bed materials 3 pressed to each other in such a manner as to extend over both areas, whereby the lateral movement of both ceiling bed materials 3 is regulated by the c-shaped section. Further, both ceiling bed materials 3, 3 can be pressed and fixed to the lower horizontal piece 9c of the joint main body 9 by tightening the clamp screws 10. Further, the horizontal position adjustment and anti-earthquake reinforcement for the ceiling bed materials 3 can be facilitated. |
