PURPOSE:To cancel the operation of a tension reducing mechanism, and to give a restraining feeling to occupants so as to eliminate an uneasy feeling, in a sudden braking or in a sudden turning of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:To a control circuit of a pawl 8 to engage and disengage with the ratchet wheel 7 of a tension reducing mechanism 5, a reed switch 16 connected to a buckle switch 12 in series, and to operate OFF following the perceiving operation of a deceleration sensor 17 is provided, so as to cancel the operation of the tension reducing mechanism 5 when a deceleration is generated. |
