PURPOSE: To carry out setting of a pessary into the interior of a body continuously and to make it possible to recover the pessary simply and surely, by putting a controlled release and swelling high polymer solid into a pouch and attaching a recovering string to get rid of the pessary onto the both edge parts at the opening side of the pouch after its usage. CONSTITUTION: A high polymer solid 6 is substantially dry, constituted of cross- linked polyethylene glycol, and expands when it swells through contacting with body fluid. The high polymer material controls discharging of a pharmacodynamically activated material by its diffusion. A pouch 2 is net- formed, and uses a knit thread which is made by a one thread lilliput knitting machine using Dacron(R) or diolen(R) as a material. The seamless pouch is made by a circle knitting method. One end of the pouch is closed and the other end has an opening inlet 16 for filling the high polymer material when the material is manufactured. The opening inlet is reinforced by a top closing cloth 4, which is made through knitting the same polyester thread with high density. A recovering braid consists of both edge parts 8, 10, and a central part 12 arranged along both ends of the pouch and its closed end, and is sewed on when manufacturing the pouch. |
