PURPOSE: To obtain a casting mold for a golf ball good in heat efficiency by sending a heat exchange liquid to an inflow core and from the inflow core to an outflow core to discharge the same in the vicinity of a half cup-shaped recessed part and blocking the flow bypassing the inflow and outflow cores. CONSTITUTION: The metal body 82 having a plurality of half cups 84 of a casting mold 80 for the lower part of a golf ball crosses a heat exchange liquid crossing flow passage 86 to reach the vicinity of the bottom surface of the half cup 84 and inflow and outflow cores 88, 89 communicating with each other are drilled in the metal body 2 and a heat exchange liquid flows through the inflow core 88 upwardly to reach the outflow core as shown by an arrow to be sent out downwardly. The heat exchange liquid crossing flow passage 86 between the inflow and outflow cores 88, 92 is blocked by a long screw type plug 96 and the heat exchange liquid flows in from the inflow core 88 to flow out of the outflow core 92. If the cores 88, 92 are increased in the vicinity of the molding surface of the half cup 84, the heat exchange of the molding surface can be still more enhanced. |
