<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the partial wear of pads and improve brake response. CONSTITUTION:Wear resistant members 9 are provided at the inner and outer peripheral edges of the sliding face 7a of a disc rotor 7. Outer pads 8a are in constant contact with the wear resistant members 9. An inner pad 8b is friction-engaged with the disc rotor 7 at the braking time. Plate springs 3a, 3b are fitted to a piston 4 and an arm part 6 so as to press the outer pads 8a to the disc rotor 7.</p> |
