A side tipping bulk carrying vehicle, the body 1 having a hinge 6 at one side and hydraulic rams 2 on the other side. The rams 2 are two stage, the first stage being single acting and the second stage being double acting. The body is supported on feet 13 so that the hinge 6 and rams 2 do not take the load in the rest position.
