PURPOSE:To provide the subject compound having leukotriene B4 antagonistic activity, thus useful for preventing and/or curing allergic dermatosis, rheumatism, gout, psoriasis, arthritis, trichophytosis, or cardiac infarction. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound of formula I {A is NHCO, O, NHSO2, CO, CH2 or C(OH)H; W is 1-13C alkylene, phenylene or of formula II; R<1> is H, 1-4C alkyl, COOH, 4 to 7-membered monoheterocycle containing one saturated or unsaturated nitrogen atom, one oxo-substituted 4 to 7-membered monoheterocycle containing one nitrogen atom, etc.; A, W and R<1> are combined into a fragment of formula III to V, etc.; Y is ethylene or vinylene; D is X-B or of formula VI [Z is alkylene or alkenylene; B is of formula VII (R<3> is H, alkyl, etc.; n is 1-3); R<4> is alkylene; R<5> is alkyl, phenethyl, etc.]}, e.g. 3-{1-[7-(4- methoxyphenyl)-n-heptyl]-oxy-4-(4-dimethylaminocarbonylbutanamido)benz ene-2- yl}propionic acid. |
