PURPOSE:To suppress the formation of by-produced fine particles caused by the concurrent emulsion polymerization in the suspension polymerization of a (meth)acrylic monomer and to obtain (meth)acrylate polymer particles having uniform particle size. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin particles can be produced by the suspension polymerization of (A) a polymerizable monomer composed mainly of a (meth) acrylic monomer in an aqueous system in the presence of (B) a compound essentially insoluble in water and scarcely soluble in the polymerizable monomer A. The compound B preferably contains at least one, especially two or more structural units selected from SH, S-S, COOH, NO2 and OH. |
