PURPOSE:To produce a soundproof material improved in soundproofing properties, compressive recovery, strengths, water resistance, weathering resistance, heat resistance, etc., by using a crosslinked foam formed from an emulsion of a (meth)acrylic ester polymer as the base material. CONSTITUTION:10-99.9wt.% (meth)acrylic ester, 0.1-10wt.% monomer containing a crosslinking functional group and 0-89.9wt.% monomer freed from a crosslinking functional group are emulsion-polymerized at 10-90 deg.C for 5-15hr in water in the presence of an emulsifier and a polymerization initiator to obtain an emulsion of a (meth)acrylic ester polymer. 100 pts.wt. this emulsion is mixed with 0.05-10 pts.wt. fluorosilicate, and the resulting mixture is expanded and allowed to gel by heating to 80 deg.C for 10min or longer to obtain a crosslinked foam. This foam is applied to another base material and dried by heating to 80 deg.C or above for 10min or longer. |
