A fluid-pressure regulator comprises a pressure gauge 1 having a pointer 2 movable relatively to a scale in response to an input pressure signal. The pointer 2 rotates a spindle 4 through a coupling 3 to rotate a cylinder 6 having a helical surface 8. The surface 8 controls the connection between jet and receiving nozzles 10 to provide a signal to an amplifier 14. The output from the amplifier 14 is fed back to a bellows 15 to move the cylinder 6 axially and an integral action is provided by a throttle 22.</p> |
