<p>PURPOSE:To provide an APC temperature compensator for a semiconductor laser in which an optical output can be made constant irrespective of a temperature change of a laser. CONSTITUTION:A photodiode 5 for receiving a monitored light of a laser 4 to be driven by laser driving means 21 is connected to current.voltage converting means 12. The means 12 is connected to differential amplifying means 15 to convert a monitored current Imon obtained by the photodiode 5 into a voltage Vm, and to supply it to the means 15. The means 15 is connected to resistors 19, 20 for setting an optical output to compare and amplify the voltage Vr to be set thereby with the voltage Vm to be supplied to the means 21. A thermistor 8 of negative characteristics for measuring the temperature of the laser 4 is connected in parallel with the resistor 20.</p> |
