PURPOSE:To speedily remove ozone and to inhibit the ozone from being sent out of the device by providing ozone removal means in the exhaust passage of an optical scanning part and the exhaust passage of an image recording part provided with a corona discharge means. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust duct 36 for the image recording part B is formed from a partition 29, the wall of a fixing device 25 and a partition 35, and it is connected to the suction port 31 of an exhaust fan 30. An ozone filter 8a is provided in the suction port 33 of the exhaust duct 36, which is near to an electrifier 7. Additionally, a suction port 32 is provided in the part which is in contact with the exhaust fan 30, and an ozone filter 8b is provided in the exhaust passage of the optical scanning part A. Therefore, air in the optical scanning part A and the image recording part B is sucked by the exhaust fan 30, passed through the ozone filters 8a and 8b to remove harmful ozone, and sent out of the exhaust port 34. By providing ozone filters in the exhaust passages in such a manner, the image recording part and the optical scanning part are not filled with ozone. |
