<p>PURPOSE:To provide a document image processor constituted so that menu display can easily be observed by erectly displaying the contents of a display in accordance with the rotated state of a display device. CONSTITUTION:The layout of the contents of menues is found out from the height 1 and width 1 of a display enabled area in the vertically set state of a display device, the height 2 and width 2 of the display enabled area in the horizontally set state and the width 3 and height 3 of each area for a selecting item B to be displayed as the contents of a menu and a menu M is displayed on a menu display part based upon the layout, so that the menu M is displayed on the maximum size of the display enabled area without changing the size or arrangement of the menu contents independently of the height and width of the display enabled area which are to be changed in accordance with the rotated state of the display device.</p> |
