PURPOSE:To obtain the optical waveguide circuit module with a low loss, a large reflection attenuation quantity, and a high mechanical strength where a large-sized optical waveguide circuit board whose curvature can not be ignored, can be mounted with no stress load by fixing part of the straight optical waveguide part of the optical waveguide circuit board to a holder by using a fixing agent. CONSTITUTION:The optical waveguide circuit board 1 is adhered to the holder at a light input waveguide part and a light output waveguide part, and an optical circuit part equipped with a branching function is not in contact with the holder 20. The holder 20 consists of a lower frame 21, spacers 22a-22d, and a pressure plate 23. To hold the board 1 on the holder 20, spacers 22a and 22b are adhered to both ends of a lower frame 21 with adhesives, the surfaces of the spacers 22a and 22b are coated with adhesives, and the board 1 is mounted thereupon and adhered. Both ends of the board 1 are coated with adhesives, spacers 22c and 22d are adhered, and the pressure plate 23 is mounted and adhered lastly to complete the optical waveguide circuit module. |
