<p>PURPOSE:To provide an electrostatic charge image developer with which deposition of fussed toner on a contact electrification member or a transfer member is prevented, no picture image defect is produced, and picture images excellent in low temp. fixing property and offset resistance is obtd. CONSTITUTION:This electrostatic charge image developer contains an additive and a magnetic toner containing at least specified amts. of binder resin component, low mol.wt. wax component, and magnetic material. The binder resin component has 50-90wt.% component having mol.wt. between >=500 and <100000, <=20wt.% component having mol.wt. between >=100000 and <300000, and 5-30wt.% component having >=500000mol.wt. to THF-soluble fraction in GPC chromatograph. The external additive contains 0.1-2wt.% silica fine powder, 0.1-4wt.% metal oxide component, and 0.01-1wt.% fluorine-contg. resin fine powder to the weight of the magnetic toner. The amt. of silica fine powder is larger than the fluorine-contg. resin fine powder.</p> |
