PURPOSE:To easily select and input a graphic which is not displayed at the back side of the other graphic, in a three-dimensional graphic processing system. CONSTITUTION:A wire frame graphic preparing means 2 prepares a wire frame graphic in which each vertex of a three-dimensional graphic is connected through a segment from three-dimensional graphic data included in a graphic data preserving means 1 at the time of receiving an inputting request. A rendering means 3 prepares the two-dimensional display image of the wire frame graphic, and displays it on a plot screen. A cursor control means 5 displays a two-dimensional cursor graphic on the plot screen at the time of receiving the inputting request. A wire frame graphic retrieving means 7 retrieves the wire frame graphic crossing a three-dimensional straight graphic plotted as one point at a cursor position received from the cursor control means 5. A graphic data retrieving means 8 retrieves the graphic data being the original of the wire frame graphic retrieved by the wire frame graphic retrieving means 7. A retrieved graphic data holding means 9 holds the retrieved graphic data, and inputs it.
