PURPOSE:To rapidly execute reading/writing(R/W) by converting repeating data to be used for the R/W test of a fixed magnetic disk. CONSTITUTION:Repeating data are converted by R/S testing data converting circuits 7, 16, transmitting data converting circuits 5, 14 and receiving data reconverting circuits 6, 15 and sent data are reconverted into the original repeating data by the circuits 6, 15. Normal R/W can be disconnected from the circuits 7, 16 by change-over switches 4, 13. The circuits 7, 16 are respectively integrated in a controller 1 and a fixed magnetic disk device 10. |
