<p>PURPOSE:To provide the tuning unit which can displays a cent error value with good resolution by using a small number of light emitting elements. CONSTITUTION:This tuning unit consists of a basic period extracting means 3B which extracts the basic period of a musical sound, a cent error value calculating means 3C which compares the period extracted by the basic period extracting means 3B with a reference period and calculates the cent error value, a light emitting element selecting means 3D which selects light emitting elements among L1-L11 to be turned on according to the cent error value calculated by the cent error value calculating means 3C, a duty generating means 3F which controls the light emission quantity of the light emitting elements selected by the light emitting element selecting means 3D, and a duty selecting means 3E which selects the duty generated by the duty generating means 3F according to the cent error value. The cent error value between light emitting element is fractionized according to the combination of adjacent light emitting elements and then displayed.</p> |
