PURPOSE:To provide the optical recording medium which can exactly reproduce even in spite of flawing, adhesion of dust, etc. CONSTITUTION:The light reflection layer and light absorption layer of the optical recording medium having a transparent substrate 102, the light reflection layer 102, a transparent intermediate layer 103 and the light absorption layer 104 in this order contains org. dyestuff and the multilayered films constituted by having the transparent substrate, the light reflection layer, the transparent intermediate layer and the light absorption layer constitute a multilayered optical element for the incident reproducing beam on the light absorption layer through the transparent substrate. This multilayered optical element has such characteristics that the relation between the reflectivity on the incident surface to the reproducing beam of the optical recording medium and the thickness of the transparent intermediate layer exhibits the min. reflectivity and the max. reflectivity at the plural thickness values of the transparent intermediate layer for the reproducing beam. The thickness of the transparent intermediate layer is set substantially equal to the thickness exhibiting nearly the intermediate reflectivity of the min. reflectivity and the max. reflectivity. |
