PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of reducing the used quantity of a memory. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device is characterized by including a first compressing means 1, 2 to compress inputted image data, a storage means 3 to store the compressed image data, a second compressing means 4, 5, 6 to restore the image data stored in the storage means 3, and execute density conversion processing in respect of the restored image data, and afterwards, store the image data having been density-conversion-processed in the storage means after compressing it again, and a restoring means 7, 8 to restore again the image data stored in the storage means 3 by the second compressing means 4, 5, 6. |
