<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the process of the device and to lower the cost of the device by a method wherein each optical tube body on the light-emitting side and each optical tube body on the photodetection side are brought individually face to face in such a way that individual light-path chambers form a series of light-path chambers and, in this state, individual multiseriate bodies are molded collectively. CONSTITUTION:In a state that a light-emitting side and a photodetection side are brought face to face, an outer-package resin 30 is molded and they are integrated. Consequently, even when a light-emitting element 12 and a photodetector 22 are mounted on individual lead frames 11, 21 on the light-emitting side and the photodetection side in a multiseriate manner, they are molded collectively in a state that the light-emitting element 12 and the photodetector 22 are covered respectively with light-shielding tube bodies 13, 23 and that the light-shielding tube body 13 on the light-emitting side and the light-shielding tube body 23 on the photodetection side are brought face to face. Then, light form light-path chambers in other parts does not creep into a series of light-path chambers 13a, 23b formed of both light-shielding tube bodies, and light is not leaked to light-path chambers in other parts from the series of light-path chambers. When the light-emitting element 13 and the photodetectors 23 are covered with the light-shielding bodies and they are molded in the state that they are brought face to face, a multiple optically coupled device can be formed.</p> |
