In an "up-and-over" door arrangement the door 3 is permanently attached to its side supporting posts 4 by way of the operating mechanism so that the complete unit can be fitted into an opening in a garage without having to assemble the said mechanism on site. The mechanism comprises a lever 7 pivoted to the door at 11 and to the posts 4 at 8 with a spring 13 attached to the post 4 and to the other end of the lever 7 at 10. Rollers attached to the top of the door at 17 are guided in rails 15 which are horizontal in the operating position but during transportation are pivoted at their connection with the posts 4 to lie flat with the door 3. A latching mechanism 19 is included. |
