PURPOSE:To provide a stationary variable voltage frequency power source unit which prevents the occurrence of nonconformity of load and besides does not lower the availability of a plant to which it is applied, by making redundant control means for a stationary variable voltage variable frequency power source unit redundant, and in the case that the any control means or the like goes wrong, changing it over automatically to a sound control means. CONSTITUTION:This stationary variable voltage variable frequency power source unit by a thyristor inverter is equipped with a plurality of control means 9a and 9b for controlling the inverter, a frequency abnormality detecting means 18 for detecting the output frequency of the inverter 6, and a changeover means 22 for changing over the control means by the frequency abnormality signal 22 from this frequency abnormality detecting means 18. |
