The system uses air action for lighting, and an extinguisher (11) for the putting out of the cigarette (1). A hollow capsule (8), inside the cigarette, contains the extinguisher product (11). The extinguisher external wall (9), in flexible non heat conducting material,has rigid and pointed appendices (12). The internal wall (10) is in a combustible material breakable from the first wall (9). A combustible system (13) comprising a longitudinal capillary structure is either external or internal. A product (4) inflammable with contact with the air is insulated from it by a raisable protection (6) having a gripping system (7). ADVANTAGE - Provides automatic self contained lighting and extinguishing of cigarettes.
