PURPOSE:To raise a plurality of switching power supplies group by group by a method wherein currents are supplied to a respective groups of the switching power supplies. CONSTITUTION:A power supply part 5 in which a plurality of switching power supplies are divided into a plurality of groups, switching devices 4 which are provided for the respective divided groups and a main power supply part 1 which supplies currents to a plurality of the switching power supplies 5 are provided. A current detecting means 3 which detects the current from the main power supply 1 is provided. The switching device 4 for one group is turned on and, after the currents supplied from the main power supply 1 to a plurality of the switching power supplies 5 in that group reach steady-state currents, the switching device 4 for the next group is turned on. Such process is repeated until the switching device 4 for the last group is turned on to supply the currents to a plurality of the switching power supplies 5. With this constitution, all the switching power supplies 5 can be raised. |
