PURPOSE:To vary output data large by using a two-phase type pulse generator which generates a small number of pulses while a dial makes one rotation. CONSTITUTION:The pulse output signal 11a of the dial type two-phase pulse generator 11 is supplied to a dial information detecting means 1 to detect rotational frequency information 1a and rotational direction information 1b of the dial type two-phase pulse generator 11; and specific data are read out of a corresponding data table by retrieving a data storage means 3 according to the rotational frequency information 1a on the dial and output data Dout are generated from the read data and rotational direction information 1b and then made variable corresponding to the rotating speed of the dial, so that the output data can be varied large at a low rotational frequency even when the two-phase type pulse generator which generates a small number of pulses in one rotation of the dial.
