935,938. Automatic temperature control systems. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. June 5, 1962 [June 8, 1961], No. 21666/62. Class 38 (4). A switching transistor 5 responsive to the output of a bridge circuit 3, 10-12 obtains its collector-emitter current through one of the resistors 10 and is controlled by a transistor 4 connected across the bridge diagonal which arrangement is stated to provide a " snap " action at the operating point. In a temperature control system, sensing resistor 3 is temperature dependent. A collector resistor 14 is also temperature dependent to give ambient temperature compensation. A relay 6, a controls the load. Resistors 7-9 provide different temperature settings, the feedback and sensitivity being adjustable on the resistor 10. |
