发明名称 Verfahren zur Herstellung von im wesentlichen aus anorganischen Fasern bestehenden Isolierkoerpern
摘要 1,131,044. Insulating coatings. LITTIL, A.G. 7 Sept., 1965, No. 38119/65. Heading B2K. [Also in Division D2] Porous, flexible, insulating bodies are made by dispersing fibrous asbestos in a liquid medium, preferably water or an aqueous alcohol, converting the resulting dispersion to foam and moulding and solidifying the foam to the shape of the insulating body. Other mineral fibres, e.g. rockwool fibres, or glass fibres, may be admixed to the asbestos fibres. The dispersion medium may contain a soap or detergent. The moulded foam may be solidified by drying below 100‹C and subsequently heated at higher temperatures, e.g. 200‹C. A synthetic plastics material, e.g. a silicone, may be added to the dispersion to make the product hydrophobic. Emulsifiable low-boiling liquids, e.g. dichlorodifluoromethane, may be added to the dispersion, which may then be stored under pressure; when the pressure is released, the dispersion will foam. Other auxiliary agents which may be added are: graphite, "Perlite" (Trade Mark), vermiculite, kieselguhr and "Teflon" (Trade Mark) as fillers, epoxy resins, phenol-formaldehyde resins and melamine-formaldehyde resins to make the material hydrophilic and facilitate pressing, and styrene, which with the addition of catalysts can be polymerized. The suspension may be foamed by stirring, pumping, beating or blowing gas through the dispersion. The foam may be placed on a structure to be insulated and solidified in contact therewith.
