The lock is for a bag, briefcase or trunk. It projects from the surface of the article to be locked and is of a frustoconical shape with a rounded tip (4). The sides of the cone consist of rotatable locking rings (5,6) with knobs (14) to allow them to be turned. The bottom portion (17) of the rings consists of a disc extending inwards and engaging a central post (8) with locking bits (9) projecting in one direction.There are at least two grooves (10) separating the bits and accommodating the discs (17).
