The quality testing system has one of the printed foils applied to the core foil (12) of the card replaced by a test foil (5), incorporating at least one test element. The applied test foil is covered by a second test foil (6) which has identical test elements in corresponding positions, with misalignment between the test elements of both test foils evaluated qualitatively and/or quantitatively. Pref. the quantitative evaluation of the misalignment between the test elements can be effected via at least one carrier with the cooperating scales carried by respective test elements of the 2 test foils.
