摘要 The wheel balancing machine attaches the wheel to a shaft which is rotated at a given frequency. The force exerted on the shaft at a defined point provides a corresponding electrical signal. The signal is fed through a phase shifter and subtracted from the original signal, the difference obtained being electrically analysed to determine the wheel imbalance. Pref. the phase shifter provides a phase shift which is a multiple of 180 degrees, with a filter inserted between the measuring device and the phase shifter and between the measuring device and the subtraction circuit. ADVANTAGE - Balancing device is simple to operate with reduced noise component in obtained signal.
