摘要 The position evaluation system uses time signals generated via a global time basis (1, 2), stored together with the position signals (W) provided by a measuring source (G) and fed to a processor allowing the absolute position to be determined. Pref. the storage of the position signals and the time signals is controlled via the position signals, e.g. under control of each nth position signal. The calculated absolute position can be combined with a given characteristic to allow a further parameter to be calculated. USE - For providing absolute position or speed determn. of workpiece or machining tool in automatic machine tool.
