The decoding/conversion appts. codes the transmission according to a multi-frequency process ,when a telephone user dials or keys in the number of another user. For each digit a tone frequency is produced that is identified by a decoder (2) ,and a demultiplexer (3) and opto-coupler provide digital signals. The signals are generated in the form of pulses that simulate the action of a joystick controller and can be used to operate computer system. The decoder and demultiplexer are in the form of integrated circuits. USE/ADVANTAGE - Decoded telephone signals simulate those of computer joystick.
