Additive fibre length is a max. of 4 mm, and pref. 1 to 2 mm. The input amt. consists of 0.3 to 1.5 wt.% per ton of asphalt mixt. The input amt. for fine mineral material mix. amounts with a fibre material portion of approx. 20 to 30 wt.% to a multiple of 0.3 to 1.5 wt.% per ton of asphalt mixt. Additive in its use is mixable with bitumen-mineral material mixts., bitumen, special bitumen, polymer modified bitumen, liq. artificial resins within the scope of improving the bitumen properties at higher or high temps. After cooling and redn. of the mixt. the additional material has a sand-type granulate form. USE/ADVANTAGE - As an additional material to be added to asphalt for road construction. Mixes readily with all kinds of bitumen material for property improvement purposes.
